Thank you for deciding to share your information. I have three requests: This forum is accessible to the universe. Be conscientious about the regulations and the vulnerabilities regarding the information you share. De-identify the patient, organization, and institution information. In other words, be smart! Nurses consistently repeat three themes:

  1. This forum is accessible to the universe. Be conscientious about the regulations and the vulnerabilities regarding the information you share. De-identify the patient, organization, and institution information. In other words, be smart!

  2. Nurses consistently repeat three themes:
    1) nursing is a diverse profession and
    2) once you're a nurse you can choose any career track and
    3) there are differences over the decades in the way nurses have been educated and each way has pros and cons. Too much repetition makes for a boring collection of stories. In other words, no need to repeat these three points!

  3. Everyone's time is precious, yours included. Answer the questions in a way that is rich with detail and conveys your thoughts and emotions, but please bottom line it. In other words, keep your answers lively, interesting and brief.
